If you’re a fan of the animated series, you may recognize some of these scenarios… but this time you’re not simply watching - you’re part of the action! Don’t worry if you’re new to the series though - you’ll discover them organically through the game’s story!
Today, we’re going to show you a preview of some of the encounters you’ll experience over your adventures in the game. For example…
You’ll take on the Beast King Crocodine in the Dark Forest. He overwhelms Dai and his friends with another level of power!
You’ll experience a drawn-out battle with the Blizzbane Legion on Valge Island.
Two wielders of the Dark Aura, Hyunckel and Mystvearn face off in a dramatic clash between dark master and student!

The Dark Army commanders
Sooner or later, you’ll go head to head with the commanders of the Dark Army. These fights are some of the most exciting and challenging in the game. Here are just a few of the foes you’ll face:
Hadlar
- Voiced by: Brian Drummond
Dark Commander Hadlar leads the Six Legions of the Dark Army. A proud warrior, he prefers to fight on the front lines and has challenged the Disciples of Avan on many occasions.
Hadler fights in close combat using the Hell’s Claw that extends from his fist and also unleash devastating magical attacks.
His ultimate technique is the Extreme Heat Spell “Kasizz”, which burns all in his path!
Crocodine
The “Beast King” Crocodine leads the Furfang Legion. Boasting a titanic physique, Crocodine is a true warrior who values both courage and loyalty.
He’s a skilled close-range combatant, and uses his immense body and Vortex Axe weapon to deadly effect.
Crocodine’s not just a fearsome melee fighter. He can also paralyze his opponents using his Heat Breath and charge his aura to unleash the mighty Beast King Anguish Blast!
Flazzard
- Voiced by: Brian Drummond
General Flazzard commands the Blizzblaze Legion. His unique body was created through forbidden magic and is wreathed in fire on one side and ice on the other. He is a cruel and ruthless man who will do anything to achieve victory.
He barrages Dai and his allies with powerful combinations of fire and ice-based attacks and his Five Finger Flares unleashes the spell Kafrizz five times for extreme destructive power!
Mystvearn
- Voiced by: Alex Zahara
Shadow Vizier Mystvearn commands the Shadow Legion. Nobody has ever seen Mystvearn’s true face - it’s always concealed beneath his robes.
He smashes his foes with attacks that use Dark Aura Power. In fact, nobody's better at manipulating Dark Aura than him.
Baran
- Voiced by: Dean Redman
Dragon Master General Baran leads the Dragon Legion. Like Dai, he is a Dragon Knight, but his goal is to destroy humanity.
Baran is a skilled expert with both sword and spells and possesses extraordinarily strong combat abilities! When Baran transforms into his ultimate combat form, the “Dragonoid”, he can unleash the mighty Gigabreak to annihilate his enemies with a single devastating attack.
The Dragon Masters
Baran is served by three minions known as the Dragon Masters. Each is loyal to the commander of the Dragon Legion, and are formidable warriors in their own right!
Galdandy
- Voiced by: Brent Miller
Sky Rider Galdandy is a skilled aerial combatant. He has a vicious and cruel temperament and takes pleasure in tormenting the weak.
Borahorn
- Voiced by: Steve Olson
Sea Rider Borahorn boasts impressive physical might and his harpoon attacks have immense destructive power!
Larhart
- Voiced by: Scott Roberts
Land Rider Larhart utilises his shocking speed and finely honed combat techniques in battle. His Dark Armour Spear is a masterpiece created by one of the underworld’s most famous blacksmiths.
