If you are a fan, of course, you’ll be pleased to know that the game is positively overflowing with fan service, from ‘Bond Memories’, which unlock scenes from the manga, to familiar combat moves taken from the show itself!

The combat is intense and super-stylish

As you’d expect, combat is a big part of Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai - and what combat it is!

You’ll use combos, unique abilities and incredible ‘Coup de Grâce’ ultimate attacks to take on all kinds of foes. These can range from classic DRAGON QUEST monsters like Slimes, to the uber-powerful generals of the Dark Army.

With multiple fully playable characters, including the spell-casting Popp, warrior priest Maam and sword-swinging Hyunckel, each with their own distinct playstyles, there’s an enormous level depth to uncover in the combat system.

There’s a satisfying flow to combat that means it never gets old. In fact…

It’s unforgettably replayable

If you fancy a break from the main story, want to test your skills or just earn some valuable loot to strengthen your heroes, they you can head to the Temple of Recollection.

This increasingly difficult mode sends you down floor-by-floor into an ever-evolving dungeon, where no run is ever the same. Each new level of this treacherous temple pits you against increasing challenging encounters - but increasingly valuable rewards. The more dangerous the floor, the greater the rewards it offers.

At regular intervals, you’ll be given the option to leave Temple of Recollection and return to the surface with your winnings. It’s up to you to decide whether to cut and run or gamble your current haul on the promise of what lies beneath. If you fall, you’ll lose everything you earned, but if you make it through, you’ll be rewarded with even more glorious rewards.

It’s a test of skill and bravery, and it changes each time you play so you’re never sure what to expect. It makes for some very compelling action - the pull for ‘just one more run’ is very real.

When you’ve completed the story, you can also try your hand at Challenge Mode.

This opens up new versions of battles from Story Mode, pitting you against stronger opponents, remixed encounters and much more. It’s a true test of everything you’ve learned throughout the story, and some of the most difficult, entertaining and rewarding challenges in the game.
